Why we do it

When a household is carrying cancer treatment, the outdoors is the first thing that slides — and every week it slides further, it weighs a little more. A mown lawn and a kept garden won't change a diagnosis. But they take one thing off the list, and they keep home feeling like home.

What we do

Regular care visits, at no cost, for families going through treatment — lawns mown, hedges kept, beds tidied, green waste gone. Scheduled around the family, not the other way round. Same crews, same tools, same standard as every other Horizon property.

The partnership

Hope to Homes runs in partnership with the Cancer Society, who connect us with families across Christchurch, Selwyn and Waimakariri.

How your work supports it

Every Horizon plan and project supports Hope to Homes. The hours our clients book are what make the free ones possible.
